Through an interactive dialogue among Network members, the National Security Network develops policy ideas that:

  • Advance America's interest by working with allies and partners while ensuring military and economic strength to act alone, if necessary;
  • Enhance and exercise a balance of military and moral authority; and
  • Restore respect for America in the world by the good we can do through effective use of power, support for democracy and human rights.

The inventory of briefings provides a baseline for a principled and pragmatic national security.
