National Security is a local issue. That’s why one of the core missions of the Network is to strengthen citizen support for responsible foreign policy throughout the country. It is the only organization that seeks to bridge the divide between the foreign policy experts and politicians in Washington and local community leaders and the general public.
Local Network chapters bring together community leaders from the business and legal worlds and academic, religious and ethnic communities, among others. They take the national debate to citizens around the country through town hall meetings, citizen outreach, on-line exchanges, and other activities.
The National Security Network is developing policies, promoting them with effective messaging, and engaging Americans throughout the country.
Chapters are growing throughout the country with an established presence in Ohio, Iowa and New York and ongoing efforts in Colorado, California, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Michigan, and Florida. To join, or to strengthen the national dialogue in your community, please contact us.
