| David L. Mercer founded Mercer & Associates, Inc., a government and public affairs consulting firm in 1997. Mr. Mercer formerly served as the Deputy National Finance Director for the Democratic National Committee during the Clinton/Gore Era. He has held senior roles ranging from strategic communications to delegate operations in five presidential campaigns; in the private sector, Mr. Mercer has held various marketing positions with Procter & Gamble, Bank of Boston and Citizens Energy. Mr. Mercer currently sits on the DNC's National Finance Board and Democratic Business Council. He also chairs the board of the National Black Child Development Institute, and serves on the board of Summertime and Reading Together (START). | |
