Beers Calls Kerry's Misspeak "Unfortunate"
Iraq is is America's Greatest Strategic Blunder
10.31.2006
Washington, D.C.
Rand Beers, president of the National Security Network, who served as John Kerry's national security advisor on his 2004 campaign, made the following statement today.
"It's unfortunate that Senator Kerry misspoke. No one who has ever been in combat would intentionally impugn our brave troops, but the greater issue is our failed policy in Iraq, the greatest strategic blunder of foreign policy and leadership in American history. This is yet another attempt to distract the American people, who deserve a real debate about the issues rather than political rhetoric."
