NSN panelists Deborah and James Fallows present “Does China Exist?” James Fallows was President Carter’s speechwriter and is now an Atlantic Monthly correspondent. He has reported globally for over 30 years, most recently 3 years in China. He won the National Book Award, National Magazine Award and a NY Emmy. Deborah Fallows is a linguist and author. She recently lived and travelled throughout China for 3 years. She writes for publications from National Geographic to The Atlantic, and recently completed an international tour for her latest book, Dreaming in Chinese: Mandarin Lessons in Life, Love, and Language.
